It was a moment of merriment and joy, in an atmosphere of love at Nibo, Awka South Local Government Area, during the Valentine’s Day celebration, organised by the Muzzy World Entertainment center to celebrate the day.

 

Correspondent Kenechukwu Chukwudi reports that  apart from the beautiful environment, the essence of celebrating Valentine’s Day, centred on love and sharing, was seen, as couples, families and friends celebrated the day in the euphoria of love and merriment.

 

There was no  dull moment, as guests at the centre were entertained to different thrilling performances, including dance, comedy and music.

Speaking during the event, Mr. Innocent Okeke, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Liaison noted that Valentine day is a day to show love and also appreciate the love of others stressing that the country needs love to grow and achieve progress and peace.

 

In his remark, a student leader, Mr. Chinedu Okafor, emphasized that Valentine’s Day, is a day to show agape love to the needy and less privileged ones in the society and should not be understood to mean promiscuity in anyway.

 

According to Chief Azubuike Ekweozor, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Muzzy, the aim of the concert was to bring people together and to among other things, express love, have fun together especially during the celebration of Valentine.

He added that he built the center to bring more development, create job opportunities and also to heed the ‘Aku Lue Uno” call by Governor Willie Obiano on ndi Anambra to bring their investments home to help develop the state and fight crime.

 

Popular Nollywood actors and Comedians,  Mr. Longinus Anokwute popularly known as Chief Imo and Uche Nwakuche known as Sister Maggi featured at the event.
