Little Miss Chimdiomimi Odiakaose the daughter of Mr Osita Odiakaose, of the Anambra Broadcasting Service has been dedicated at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church Enweonwu Street Onitsha.
The child was dedicated by the Parish Priest of the Church Reverend Father Francis Anigbogu during a holy mass co -celebrated with a visiting Priest Reverend Father Francis Unegbu.
In a homily, during the mass the visiting Priest, Reverend Father Francis Unegbu urged Christians to have good and kind heart for them to win souls for Christ.
Reverend Father Unegbu who made reference to Mother Theresa of India, who has been made a Saint, said she was able to convert pagans to Christianity through her ability to help the poor and the down trodden and preaching the word of salvation to them, attributing such services to good heart of love and charity.
Later in a reception held at the Odiakaose residence, Mrs Joy Odinye of the Channels Television and Reverend Ejike Abana of the Anambra Broadcasting Service who described Mr Odiakaose as a friend and worthy colleague, appreciated God for the gift of the baby girl and prayed God to bless little Chimdiomimi with wisdom while praying God to give the parents the resources to take care of the baby.
The father of the child Mr Osita Odiakaose promised to cherish and love his daughter.
His wife Chinelo said based on her previous experiences that preceded the coming of the baby, they decided to name the child, Chimdiomimi as they were busy worrying while God is busy planning the best for them, and promised to ensure that the child is trained in God’s footsteps and directives.
Highpoint was presentations to the couple and dance by the children and friends.
