Anambra State Deputy Governor, Dr. Nkem Okeke has called on Ndi Anambra to guard themselves against COVID-19 as it is globally raking havoc the second time.
Deputy Governor Okeke made the call recently in a social gathering in Awka.
Dr. Okeke who regretted that some people still do not believe on the existence of the virus, noted that Nigeria and other countries of the world already lost many souls to the killer disease.
He said that it is imperative that people of Anambra state take all necessary precautions against the virus in order to be safe.
He explained that governor Obiano government will continue to do the needful to control the spread of the virus in the state.
Government House Correspondent, Emmanuel Okonkwo reports that the Deputy Governor also enumerated wearing of face masks, regular hand washing, and social distancing as major safety protocols people must strictly observed.
