Junior Secondary and Primary Schools in Anambra State have been included in the State on Air Teaching programme.
This is an Anambra Broadcasting Service programme in collaboration with the Ministry of Basic Education.
A release from the Basic Education Commissioner, Prof Kate Omenugha said the Iniative is in continuation of efforts to realize the mandate of Gov. Willie Obiano of ensuring that the learning needs of all pupils and students are met and enjoined parents and teachers to encourage students and pupils to be part of the teachings by tuning in to ABS on Mondays to Fridays 7-8am for junior secondary schools lessons and 9.30 to 10.30am for primary pupils continuation of efforts to realize the mandate of Governor Willie
Obiano of ensuring that the learning needs of all are met, junior
secondary and primary schools in Anambra State have been accommodated in the Anambra Teaching on Air, an Anambra Broadcasting Service program in collaboration with the Ministry of Basic Education.
A release signed by the Basic Education Commissioner, Professor Kate
Omenugha, enjoins parents and teachers to encourage students and
pupils to be part of the teachings by tuning in to ABS on Mondays to
Fridays seven o’ clock to eight o’ clock in the morning for junior
secondary schools lessons and half past nine to half past ten in the
morning for primary pupils.
