The present administration in Anambra State, led by Chief Willie Obiano has been receiving high commendation from developmental agencies for the great political will and commitment towards the well-being of the people.


These agencies are those who have been partnering the state in different ways in ensuring sustainable development within the state.


The commendation came from one of the agencies, The Challange Initiative Programme during a courtesy call on the state Commissioner for Health, Dr Vincent Okpala.


The Challenge Initiative Programme, TCI, is a nongovernmental organization, whose aim is to support the state government to strengthen health care system, particularly in the areas of family planning to improve reproductive health outcome.


Speaking during their visit at Jerome Udoji State Secretariat in Awka, the TCI Global Office Program Officer, Andrea Ferrard, expressed satisfaction with the achievements recorded so far in Anambra State, across all levels.


She explained that the great support and commitment on the part of government was what made it possible and harped on the need for sustainability.


Responding, the State Commissioner for Health, Dr Vincent Okpala, assured that the state will always do its best towards ensuring that Ndi Anambra gets the best out of their health programmes.
