Members of People’s Club of Nigeria International have paid a condolence visit to the family of the late traditional ruler of Oba, Igwe .P.C Ezenwa for the death of his wife, Ocheze Nancy Ifeoma Ezenwa who was buried in December 2019.


Ogbueshi Ifeoma Ezenwa died at the age of eighty-five, a year after the celebration of last ofala of her husband, Igwe Peter Ezenwa.


Staff reporter Njideka Okoye reports that while consoling the family, the World Wide President People’s Club of Nigeria International, Dr. Joe Ilonze said that Igwe Ezenwa was the chairman of all the trustees and patrons of the club and also one of the six persons that formed People’s Club, noting that one cannot talk about People’s Club without mentioning the late traditional ruler for his fight, contributions and efforts for the growth and sustenance of the club.


Dr. Ilonze said that they came to encourage the family especially the first son of Ezeokpoko, Chief Noel Ezenwa who is at the present, the Regent of Oba, advising him to continue with the good steps of his father and operate with the fear of God.


Contributing, the first Vice President People’s Club of Nigeria International, Chief Polly Uba said that Igwe Ezenwa ruled with integrity and wisdom of God, urging the children to toe the path of their parents and bear the loss with fortitude.


Responding, the Regent of Oba and the first son of the family, Chief Noel Ezenwa who spoke on behalf of the family, thanked members of People’s Club for their visit and for demonstrating the love and respect they have for their late father and promised to keep the legacies of their parents.


Executive members of People’s Club of Nigeria International were present during the visit and later made a presentation to family.
