A United Kingdom-based all-youth Non-Governmental Organization known as Igbo Cultural and Support Network, ICSN, has embarked on a one-week charity tour in Anambra State.


The group, which runs the support tour under the flagship of Udara Outreach Programme, made this known when its delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, Chief Uche Nworah, at the station’s corporate Headquarters in Awka.


The Igbo Cultural and Support Network ICSN, an NGO with over 2,500 members comprising Igbo professionals living, working and studying iin the United Kingdom dedicated to building a culturally inclusive network of people who are passionate about Igbo culture.


President of the group, Miss Ezim Ezemonye-Agwuegbo, who led the delegation, said that the association which is twenty one years, seeks to bring Igbo youths abroad together, to identify with one another in cultural belief and to strategize on ways of harmonizing their individual talents to be able to give back to the society.


While appreciating the Anambra State government for its support including providing an enabling environment, Miss Agwuegbo noted that the association, since its creation, has helped in addressing the phobic attitude of Igbo youths living abroad, and as such encouraging them to visit home and getting acquainted with the culture and living standards of their people.
