Ndi Anambra have been encouraged to exercise patience with the state
government on roads devastated by the torrential rain fall, as the damages caused by the rains will soon be addressed.

Anambra State Deputy Governor, Dr. Nkem Okeke, gave the encouragement
during a church service at All Souls Anglican Church Enugwu-Ukwu, in
Njikoka Council Area.

The  Deputy Governor Okeke, who expressed the concern of the present
administration on the failed roads in the state, said that the damages caused by erosion in the state will soon be addressed.

He said that the state expects assistance from the federal government in erosion control as the Minister for environment will visit Anambra to ascertain level of damages caused by erosion.

Dr. Okeke emphasized the need for all to join hands in making the state more habitable, and assured that the government will always strive to meet the needs of the people

Earlier in a sermon, the Parish Priest of the church, Reverend Hilary Nwokeabia, charged Christians to always put their whole trust in God as he is able to deliver them from the hands of the enemies, and
pointed out that God hates fear and unbelief.
