The need for the restructuring of the Nigerian-Nation took the centre stage during yesterday’s ABS Radio audience participatory programme, Press Review in Awka.
The State President of Ohaneze Ndigbo Chief Damian Okeke-Ogene who said that the restructuring of the Nigerian-Nation will bring even development across the country observed that yesterdays, Igbo summit at the Dr Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka will engender positive change in the lives of Ndigbo.
On his part, the traditional ruler of Ifitedunu in Dunukofia Local Government Area, Igwe Emeka Ilouno, said for restructuring to be effective, all hands must be on deck, advising Ndigbo to imbibe the spirit of love and oneness among themselves.
For another discussant, the Director State Grassroot Change Initiative, Mr Ositadimma Onyemaobi who appreciated the Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, for embarking on inspection of federal roads under construction in Anambra State, appealed to the federal government to pay Anambra State the outstanding debt of forty-five billion naira it is owing it, to ensure the completion of outstanding projects.
Some callers to the programme, Messrs Sunday Nwankwo, Badmus Onuorah, Ike Ibedu equally canvassed for total restructuring of the Nigerian-Nation.
