Youths have been urged to abstain from any live style that will make them an enemy of God, but rather should live according to the principles of Christ.

Reverend Kingsley Chukwukamma of Saint Monica Anglican Church Enugu ukwu, stated this in an ABS Phone-in programme, NDLEA AND YOU, while speaking on the roles of the church in the fight against drug abuse.

Reverend Chukwukama pointed out some of the packages of the church to help the youths, such as counseling and deliverance, prayers and fasting, moral instructions and film shows, to improve their attitude.

He beckoned on priests to engage in effective preaching and teachings, urging them to engage on moral programmes and attractions that will bring youths together so as to deliver the message to them, adding that fervent prayers, deliverance ministry, as well as domestication in the family and extra holiday classes will also be of great help to the youths.

Some of the callers, Pastor ThankGod and Eloka, in their contributions stressed on the importance of applying truth in the teaching of the gospel and drug abuse.

Other callers Nwafather, Malachy and Ugwukachi called on priests to reject gift from people of questionable character adding that the image of the church lies on the priest.
