Chief Obi enjoined them to ignore futile attempt by self seeking politicians who have no stake in the party to distract the APGA family in their resolve to re-elect Governor Obiano to maintain tempo of good governance across the State.
He noted that APGA as a movement for the progressives has strong grassroot support because of its policies of equity, fairness and good conscience while Governor Obiano has touched lives of the people in various ways and is determined to do more to maintain the State pace-setter status in the country in various sectors including agriculture, security and investment.
Also speaking, the State Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC, Prince Bartho Igwedibia enjoined politicians to respect the decision of Ohaneze Ndigbo and other stakeholders on zoning principle and allow the North Senatorial District the opportunity to complete its eight-year tenure to ensure stability and orderliness.
Prince Igwedibia, who advised the Independent National Electoral Commission to collaborate with traditional rulers, town Union Executives and leaders of Political Parties in the distribution of Permanent Voters cards, noted that many who completed registration with INEC are yet to collect their cards.
