The Ojoto community in Idemili South local government area has hailed the intervention of the state government in the debacle surrounding the purported selection and

ascension to the throne of a new traditional ruler in the community.
The state government had through its Special Adviser on Chieftaincy matters, Barrister Ikechukwu Onyeabor asked all interest groups in the chieftaincy tussle to pipe low as government was not part of any purported installation.
Reaching through the oldest Ichie in Ojoto, Chief Joe Maduekwe, the Palace Secretary, Chief Joe Obinma , and immediate past President General of the town, Sir Amobi Adirika extolled government’s quick response to the development.

They assured that as peace loving people, Ojoto community will not engage or support anything that will cause breach of peace, law and order, advising those going contrary to government’s directive to retrace their steps.
