State House of Assembly  Committee  on Public  Account has charged the Ministry  of Information and Communication  Strategy to initiate measures to improve  it’s internally generated revenue.

The Committee made the assertion when they visited the Ministry as part of their oversight responsibilities.

The committee which spoke through its Chairman, Mr Charles Ezeani, emphasized the need for every Ministry to be productive as it will augment government’s efforts to take the State out of recession.

They mandated the Ministry to always keep their documents in the right manner to encourage accountability.

In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr Benjamin Umeraa assured the committee that they will carry out their directive to move the Ministry forward.

In their separate  speeches, the Managing  Director and Chief Executive  Officer of Anambra Broadcasting Service, Chief Uche Nworah and the Managing  Director Anambra Newspapers Printing and Publishing  Cooperation, Mr Chuka Nnabuife intimated  the Committee  on projects  they executed  in their  establishments  in 2015.
