The Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Public Account has mandated the Ministry of Environment, Beautification and Ecology to provide all the necessary documents that

will enable them carry out their oversight function in the Ministry when next they visit them.
The Committee made the assertion when they visited the Ministry as part of their oversight responsibilities.
The Committee which spoke through its Chairman, Mr. Charles Ezeani, asked the Ministry to make provision of all the documents that have to do with capital projects executed by the Ministry from 2015 to date.
According to Mr. Ezeani, the Committee wants to ensure that the audited account of Anambra for 2015 as submitted by the Auditor-General of Assembly is in line with the financial transactions of all the ministries in the state.
On his part, the Commissioner for Environment, Beautification, Ecology, Chief Romanus Ejikeme, assured them that the ministry under his watch will provide the documents they need to perform their jobs creditably when next they visit the ministry.
The Committee also visited the Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget where they asked the Ministry to make available all the documents that will assist them to carry out their oversight function in the Ministry in their next rescheduled meeting.
