The remains of late Mr Peter Iloka Nnedum has been laid to rest in his country home, Uruofolo village, Nri, Anaocha council area.
The funeral ceremony which started with a funeral Mass attracted friends and well wishers, the clergy, government officials, in-laws, Anambra Broadcasting Service family among others.
Delivery a homily during the funeral mass, a visiting priest Reverend father Cajetan Obiekezie noted that the death of a good Christian is not the end of his life but the transition to eternal life.
Father Obiekezie further charged Christians to live lives that will earn them eternal salvation, and regretted that most Christians fear death because of their ungodly live styles and prayed God to bless the deceased.
Condoling with the Nedum family, the Governor of Anambra State Chief Willie Obiano represented by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS Nze Uche Nworah enjoined the family to take solace in the Lord, as according to him, God is the giver and taker of lives.
Thanking all who graced the funeral, the elder brother of the deceased Mr Emmanuel Nnedum as well as his sister Lady Chinwe Nnedum described their late brother as a good companion, prayed God to bless and grant journey mercies to all that attended the event.
Late Mr Peter Iloka Nnedum who died at the age of fifty nine, survived by his aged mother, wife, brothers and sisters among other relations.
