As the ongoing registration of voters progresses, there have been growing concerns about INEC’s approach to the exercise.

Baring his mind on how to get the best from the exercise, the President- General, Isuanaocha Development Union in Awka North Local Government Area, Chief Tony Onyeagolum, said that taking the registration to the polling centers in the wards will make it easier for the masses, who are finding it difficult and cumbersome to go to Local Government offices of INEC to register.
Chief Onyeagolum urged INEC to extend the time of the registration from eight in the morning to six in the evening to enable more people to participate in the exercise.
A businessman, Chief Val Nnacheta, from Achalla, Awka North Local Government Area, in his opinion, asked INEC not to create room for suspicion rather to ensure that no one is disenfranchised.
He, however, urged Ndi Anambra to be patient as the exercise continues till 2019.
