One hundred people to be drawn from the five eastern states will, this year, undergo training in Agriculture in Isreal, under the organization of Igbo Herbrew cultural Heritage International.

International coordinator of the group, Rabbi Ikechukwu Oguguo disclosed this at the 2017 agriculture and rural development conference in Awka.
Addressing the participants, made up of farmers , students, youths, traditional rulers and traders drawn from the five states of the zone, Rabbi Oguguo said that the conference was aimed at providing opportunities for Ndigbo through collaboration with their Israeli brothers in the areas of agriculture, rural development and trade as well as providing scholarship to students, among others.
The Senior Special Assistant to the governor on youth mobilization, comrade Tony Uche-Ezekwelu, appreciated the organization for their foresight as what they are doing is in line with the Obiano’s agricultural revolution in the state and pledged government’s assistance and support when needed.
Rural development experts from Israel, Messers Dayan and Anat, gave lectures on agronomics best practices and rural development.
Question and answer session as well as the decoration of the two Israelis with Igbo attire made the conference a memorable one.
