Governor Willie Obiano has promised to continue to promote unity amongst people of various communities in the State.

He spoke at Nimo in Njikoka Local Government Area during the cultural Festival of the town.

Governor Obiano who described peace and unity as paramount for effective grassroot development, maintained that his efforts at resolving leadership tuzzles in various communities and instituting traditional authorities was to ensure that the people move and speak with one voice.

The Governor said with the coming of the dry season, his administration has mobilized contractors handling road projects across the state back to site, adding that it is the vision of the present administration to continue to connect the various communities with good road network.

He revealed that in its bid to boost economic activities and people’s living standards in the hinter land, his administration has made provision for another round of the twenty million naira per community choose-your-project initiative in the 2017 budget estimate.

Governor Obiano further assured that Ndi Anambra will not feel the negative effects of the present economic recession as his government is introducing several measures to ensure that the State Economy is viable.
