The State Government has presented Certificate of recognition to the traditional ruler of Enugwu Otu Aguleri, Igwe Emmanuel Obiora.

The certificate presentation took place at the governor’s Lodge, Amawbia.
Presenting the certificate, Governor Obiano said his government is committed to promoting peace in communities across the state hence its efforts at resolving leadership crisis in the communities.
He urged the traditional ruler to utilize the certificate to reconcile all aggrieved members of the community, reminding him that he is the leader of everybody.

Earlier the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Town Union matters, Mr Greg Obi noted that every lawful procedure was observed in selecting the new traditional ruler and reminded him of the need to always support the government.
In an admonition, the traditional ruler of Mbaukwu, Igwe Peter Anugwu called on people of Enugwu Otu Aguleri to rally round the traditional ruler to be able to succeed.
Responding, the new traditional ruler, Igwe Obiora thanked the state government for recognizing him and promised to lead his people with fairness and justice.
