The Commissioner for Information and Communication Strategy, Ogbuevi Tony Nnachetta says Anambra Broadcasting Service Radio and Television will be a force to reckon with globally before the end of 2016.

Ogbuevi Nnachetta made this known at an ABS Radio/Television interactive live programme held in Awka.

Answering questions during the programme, Ogbuevi Nnachetta said that despite the economic crunch in the country, work is rapidly moving in the ABS corporate headquarters Awka where the state government is building a state of the art television house that will compete favourably with all the international television stations globally.

The commissioner maintained that ministry of Information, culture and tourism was splitted by the governor to bring more efficiency in service delivery and end duplication of duties.

Ogbuefi Nnachetta equally disclosed that the silver Jubilee celebration of the state will be a four months event that will involve lectures, sports, dance, award presentations that will end by December 2016 and made it clear that Anambra has been blessed by men and women of substance.

The Information and Communication Strategy Commissioner further assured Ndi Anambra that the twenty million naira intervention funds which governor Obiano promised to all the communities in the State before the end of the year is still on course and charged all the communities, the church and Youths to support the current administration for a better Anambra State.

Callers which include Chidi from Ogbunike, Sir Nelson from Abacha as well as Mrs. Efobi from Awka all called for more support for the governor.
