Min. of Agric and Rural dev. establishes Laboratory for Farmers

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has established a fertilizer, soil and water testing laboratory for farmers in the state.
The Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr. Afam Mbanefo, disclosed this during a meeting with Directors and Deputy Directors in the Ministry in Awka.
Mr. Mbanefo who also said that free insurance has been provided for livestock farmers, blamed poor flow of information as one of the major factors militating against the actualization of government’s agricultural blue print.
He called for commitment, support and dedication from all stakeholders to achieve all that are articulated in the blue print.
The Commissioner charged all cooperatives working with the Ministry to put in their quota and commitment through sharing of ideas to drive the blue print.
