Teachers in the state have been charged to be masters of their courses, to be able to pass quality and sound knowledge to their students.
The Chairman of the Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board, ASUBEB, Chief Nzemeka Olisa, made the call during the State Teachers Internal Colloquium/Training, held at the Professor Dora Akunyili Women’s Development Centre, Awka.
 Emmanuel Okonkwo reports that  Chief Olisa, said teaching is not all about making a living but rather about making and molding the lives of future leaders.
He called on teachers to be more committed to their duties as well as endeavour to handle the students with care emphasizing the need for computer literacy among them.               
Speaking, the State Secretary of the All Nigerian Confederation of Principles of Secondary Schools, who is also the Chairman on the occasion, Mr. Austin Orji observed that the event was in line with the agenda of Governor Willie Obiano to raise the bar of education in the state.           
In their separate speeches, some teachers, Mr. Echezona Uzoalor, and Mrs. Amarachukwu Oraelosi, lauded the present administration for carrying them along and pledged to strive to meet up with their expectations in the sector.
