The member representing Njikoka one constituency in the state house of Assembly, Dr. Timothy Ifedioramma has awarded scholarship to twenty best students from selected secondary schools in Njikoka local government area.
The benefiting schools are comprehensive secondary school Nawfia, Okutalukwe Community Secondary School, Enugwu-Ukwu, Government Technical College Enugwu-Agidi, Ide Secondary School, Enugwu-Ukwu and community secondary school, Enugwu-Agidi.
 Chukwuemeka Modilim reports that the beneficiaries who were drawn from senior and junior classes in the secondary schools received twenty thousand naira each from the lawmaker which covers their school fees.
Presenting the scholarship to the beneficiaries, Dr. Ifedioramma, who said the gesture is part of his constituency projects in support of educational development in the state, revealed that the scheme was open for students in his constituency whose desire is to pursue academic excellence from secondary school up to the university level.                                           Â

Dr. Ifedioramma explained that the scholarship award which is empowered through the Ifedioramma Educational Foundation, was aimed at assisting the less privileged students to pay their school fees and encourage academic excellence among students.                                                                           Â
In their separate speeches, the principal of Ide Secondary School, Enugwu-Ukwu, Mrs. Ifeyinwa Anyansi and her counterpart from Okutalukwe community secondary school, also in Enugwu-Ukwu commended the lawmaker for the kind gesture.
Some of the students who benefited from the scholarship scheme, Praise Modekwe, Felicia Mgbolokwu and Victor Onuorah thanked the lawmaker for his magnanimity.
Later, Dr. Ifedioramma paid similar visits to some selected orphanage homes in Awka and Nise where he donated items worth thousands of naira to them to alleviate their sufferings and give them a sense of belonging.
