The Anambra State Government has observed with dismay the failure by some allottees of land in government layouts to develop land allocated to them.
Government regrets that this negative attitude runs contrary to its primary objective of allocating land to citizens of the state which is to assist them build houses of their own.
Consequently, government, is by this announcement, directing all allottees of land whose plots have not been revoked, in government approved layouts particularly in Awka, Nnewi and Onitsha to commence physical development immediately on such plots of land within three months of this announcement, after obtaining the necessary building approvals
Government hereby warns that any allottee who neglects, refuses or fails to comply with this directive within the stipulated three months period will have his/ her plot of land revoked and reallocated to genuine and willing developers.
