Five students of secondary schools in Anambra State have been selected to represent Nigeria at the 2015 World Schools Debating Championship scheduled to hold in Singapore on the 22nd July, 2015.
They are: Onyekwena Divine Adachukwu, a student of Girls Secondary School Awka, Udorji Chigozie Nnamdi from Dennis Memorial Grammar School, DMGS, Onitsha, Oguaba Sussana Chinemerem from Mater Amabilis, Umuoji, Obochi James Chukwuebuka from Army Day Secondary School, Onitsha and Chigozie Precious Nneka, from Awada Secondary School, also in Onitsha.
A release from the office of the State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, stated that the selected students who have distinguished themselves among their peers from other States in Nigeria and who have made Anambra State proud would depart for Singapore in the next few days.
