As this year’s gubernatorial election in the state approaches, the National Orientation Agency says it has concluded plans to embark on advocacy visits to religious leaders and
traditional rulers in the state, to ensure a peaceful poll.
The State Acting Director of the Agency, Dr Mike Ozoemena, who was speaking during a press interview in his office in Awka, described this year as very critical to Ndi Anambra, calling on the staff of the agency to work towards tacking positive measures in carrying out their statutory functions.
Dr Ozoemena, who maintained that a lot is expected from the staff of the National Orientation Agency noted that the Agency would soon commence its schools re-orientation programme in the state, with the sole aim of inculcating sound morals and values in school children.
While calling on the people to brace for the challenges of attitudinal change in order to build a virile Anambra State, Dr Ozoemena spoke on his intention to re-organize the War Against Indiscipline and Community Support Bridge in the state for greater performance.
