The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Inter-party and Political Affairs, Chief Ben Obi, has maintained that the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA,
has no factional leader as Governor Obiano remains the Chairman, Board of Trustees and Victor Oye, its National Chairman.
Chief Obi who described the alleged fictionalization of the party as propaganda and illegal act aimed at destabilizing the party, categorically stated that the party remains the only mouth piece of the Igbo man.
While calling on Ndi Igbo to rally round the party and stop jumping from one party to the other, Chief Obi assured their readiness to defend the party with the last drop of their blood, since according to him, it remains the pride of Ndi Igbo.
On his Christmas message to Ndi Anambra, chief Ben obi, enjoined all to complement the Governor’s efforts in the security sector by being security conscious, alerting the police and vigilante of any clandestine moves or plans by miscreants.
Describing the Christmas celebration as a period for sober reflection, Chief Obi charged all to be more reasonable, careful and most importantly, prayerful, for a brighter future.
On his part, an APGA stalwart, Chief Olisa Aniuno, commended Governor Willie Obiano for the prompt and early payment of December staff salaries and leave allowances, including a bag of rice each, describing it as the greatest Christmas gift any governor can offer.
Chief Aniuno who saw Christmas as a gift giving period, said the Governors gesture to the state workforce cushioned the effects of the present economic recession and consolidated the existing peace and harmonious co-existence in the state.
