The organizers of the forth coming Anambra Trade fair otherwise known as Jubilee fair says it will be a huge success.
The President Awka Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu, stated this during a press briefing organized by the Association of Anambra Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture in Awka.
According to Chief Nwobu, since the unveiling and public presentation of the prospectus for the fair three months ago, they have engaged in an intense work, unfettered strategizing, fruitful engagements, vigorous field work and coordination, saying that both the state government and the organized private sector in the state, have synergized to showcase the economic potential, capabilities and prowess of Ndi Anambra and their economic collaborators at the fair.
Chief Nwobu, noted that many new production techniques research finding, industrial inventions and other newly developed cottage applications are to be showcased at the fair.
He further revealed that the construction of stands at the trade fair venue will start on the eighteenth of November while the fair will kick off on Friday twenty fifth November 2016, assuring that adequate security, traffic management, provision of conveniences as well as health services have been efficiently mapped out.
The Chairman Organizing Committee of the Anambra Jubilee Fair Mr Sunny Nwachukwu said that the fair will be declared open by Governor Willie Obiano on the twenty ninth of November while a great son of Anambra who is also the President African Export Import Bank Dr Ben Orama will deliver a keynote speech.
Also speaking, the President Onitsha Chamber of Commerce, Industry Mines and Agriculture, Pharmacist Uche Apakama, said the fair will showcase the Anambra spirit and the spirit of co-operation between the government and the private sector.
The organizers of the fair revealed that each square meter costs four thousand naira.
