This was the highlight of the Arch Bishop of Niger Province, Most Reverend Christian Efobi’s sermon during a service of confirmation and admission into the women’s Guild and Men’s fellowship at the Immaculate Anglican Church Akpugoeze, Oji Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The Arch Bishop of Niger Province, Most Reverend Efobi who thanked God for his grace of seeing his children through from the beginning of the year till the very last month, prayed that his mercy will see all through next year.
He called on the newly confirmed candidates and those admitted into the womenguild and men’s fellowship to always live a justifiable Christian’s life by de-emphasizing material possession by living as God directs in the scripture.
In his remark, the Arch Deacon of Akpugo-eze Archdeaconry,Venerable Emmanuel Ekejiuba, noted that those who have been confirmed and admitted into the women’s guild and men’s fellowship, should be mindful of the life they live because many are looking up to them.
A total of thirty-sevencandidates received the sacrament of confirmation while fifteen women were admitted into the women’s guild and nine men into the men’s fellowship.
Some of the newly confirmed and admitted parishioners, Mr. Obed Nwosu and Mrs Patricia Igwilo who expressed their joy said they will use their new elevation to work for Christ.
