Christians Enjoined To Uphold Exemplary Conduct

Christians have been charged to be role models so as to win souls for Christ.

A Catholic Priest, Reverend Father Lawrence Onwuaso, gave the charge in a homily at Saint Michael’s Catholic Parish Awa, in Orumba North Local Government Area, during a mass.

According to Reverend Father Onwuaso, Christians should always live a Christ-like life in order to inherit the Kingdom of God.

He advised Christians to desist from acts capable of debasing Christianity.

The Catholic Priest used the forum to advise those occupying leadership positions to use such in improving the living standards of the people.

At Saint Marks Anglican Church Awgbu also in Orumba North Local Government Area, the Vicar, Reverend Canon Kenneth Mmaduka, charged youths to learn skills that will make them self reliant.

In a sermon at the Church, Reverend Canon Mmaduka advised youths to desist from acts that will mar their future.

The Anglican priest who described youths as future leaders called on government at all levels to create more employment opportunities for them in order to divert their minds from restiveness and crime.
