The member representing Njikoka Two Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Dr Pete Ibida, has inaugurated youth vanguard in Njikoka
Two Constituency to guarantee victory for governor Willie Obiano in the November eighteenth Governorship election in the state.
Inaugurating the youths at Abagana Primary school field, Dr Ibida charged them to safeguard AGPA votes in Njikoka Two Constituency during the November eighteenth governorship election.
Dr Ibida expressed optimism that the election would be peaceful as Governor Obiano has provided adequate security network in the state stressing that APGA will win the election convincingly.
He called on youths to distance themselves from politicians who are determined to use them to cause violence during the November eighteenth governorship poll in the state as such could jeopardize their future.
In his remark, the member representing Anaocha, Njikoka and Dunukofia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Honourable Dozie Nwankwo who assured that his constituency would vote massively for APGA, during the election, urged the youth Vanguard to be alive to their responsibilities.
In their remarks, the Governor’s Wife, Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano represented by the Deputy Governor‘s wife, Mrs Oby Okeke and the Transition Committee, Chairman Njikoka local Government Area, Chief George Ozo, added that the people of Njikoka have put necessary measures in place to ensure victory for APGA during the poll.
The ceremony also featured the grand finale of Dr Pete Ibida Unity Cup competition between Nimo and Abba male teams, which saw Nimo defeat Abba by penalty shootout.
In the female category of the competition, Abagana female team defeated Abba by one goal in the final match.
All the teams that participated in the Unity Cup competition shared two point five million naira earmarked for the competition by the sponsor, Dr Ibida, while the Governor’s wife also gave the four teams that played the final matches, five hundred thousand naira.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
