Youths, have been charged to be job providers in order to contribute to the socio-economic development of the nation.
A University Don, Professor Chika Moore gave the charge during a Youth Empowerment Seminar organized by Human Rights and Empowerment Project, in Awka.
Speaking on the topic "Discovering, Developing and Deploying Innate Potentials for Success", Professor Moore who teaches Mathematics at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, urged youths to rise above their limitations, and develop good ideas that will make them resourceful.
The organizer of the event, who is also the Executive Director of Human Rights and Empowerment Project, Mr. Francis Muoneke, said the seminar was aimed at building the capacity of youths, by assisting them to develop their potential.
He thanked the resource persons for their contributions to the success of the Programme and encouraged youths not to lose hope due to the state of economy in the country.
Some of the resource persons, Mr. Mike Anyadiegwu and Professor Joy Eyisi who reminded the participants that their destiny is in their hands encouraged them to be hard working and committed, in order to succeed in life.
