Any of the ten villages of Neni Community in Anaocha Local government Area, with the highest number of votes for the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in this Saturday’s election,
will be recognized and rewarded accordingly.
This goes for those that came second and third.
The Grand Patron of APGA and the Traditional Prime Minister of Neni, Chief Anthony Enukeme, disclosed this during a mega rally he convened at the Neni Civic Centre, to sensitize the people of the area on the need to re-elect Governor Willie Obiano for a second term.
According to Chief Enukeme, Governor Willie Obiano has performed creditably in the State especially in the areas of security of lives and property, agriculture, improved education, road and human infrastructure among others.
He stressed the need for eligible voters to root for APGA which he described as an Igbo identity.
Chief Enukeme, who intimated the people of the area that Governor Obiano has promised to upgrade the Neni Health Centre to a General Hospital in addition to the rehabilitation of Umueze Neni road, called on the people to rally round his administration.
Contributing, a frontline transporter from Neni, Chief Ebere Onyenwe said that as part of his support to the Obiano administration he will donate his buses to convey eligible voters from Enugu and Aba this Friday to their various areas to enable them vote during the election.
Others who spoke at the rally were the Special Adviser to the Governor on Internally Generated Revenue, Dr Amaka Akudo, Special Assistant to the Governor on Political matters, Sir Ejike Okechukwu as well as Chief Humphrey Nwachukwu, called on the people to support Governor Willie Obiano who they noted has restored people’s confidence in governance.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
