Some youths in the state have been trained on basic micro enterprise and empowered with basic tools by the Quintz Help Foundation for them to become self reliant.
The equipment distributed to the beneficiaries in Awka include sets of sowing machines, Clippers, Hair dryers and Cake Mixers as well as cash.
Presenting the items, the Project Supervisor, Mr. Okey Monebe said the basic training was aimed at reducing the number of unemployed youths as well as training skilled youths on how to grow their businesses.
He expressed optimism that the beneficiaries will put the machines into good use, to achieve the desired goals and commended Mavrodi Mundi Movement (MMM) for sponsoring the Programme and promised to empower more youths in the future urging the beneficiaries to make good use of the skills given them in order to improve their lives.
Some of the beneficiaries, Messrs Innocent Chukwujekwu, Franca Okpegua, Chinonso Edeh and Anthony Ugochukwu while thanking the organizers of the Programme, promised to utilize the equipment for the purpose they are meant and expressed their desire to employ more people into their business when it grows.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
