Bishop Nwokolo Tasks Priests, Church Leaders On Work Of Evangelism

The Anglican Bishop on the Niger, Right Reverend Owen Nwokolo, has advised priests and church leaders to strive to win converts for the Lord.

Speaking at Saint Mark’s Anglican Church, Umunya, Oyi Local Government Area, Right Reverend Nwokolo said priests must live exemplary life for all to emulate and reminded them of consequences of not winning souls.

He called on Christians to join up efforts in propagating the gospel of Christ in whatever way and wherever they find themselves, emphasizing that Christians must work as one body and encourage each other always in their quest to achieve a common aim.

Right Reverend Nwokolo noted that the church is a dwelling place of God and all who come before him are welcomed but admonished Christians to repent of their sins while seeking God, wholeheartedly.

The high point of the service was rendition of hymns by the choir, offering of prayers for the church and the state as well as thanksgiving by the congregation.
