Nigerians Enjoined To Intensify Fight Against Corruption

Nigeria has been described as a turbulent country were corruption is on the increase.

The Parish Priest Our Lady of Assumption Catholic church Awka, Reverend Father Christian Chimaike, stated this during the Sunday service titled “Witnessing to Christ.”

In a homily, Reverend Father Chimaike pointed out that witnessing for Christ is not by proclamation but rather serving Christ through individual lifestyle and maintained that there is hope for Nigeria if all citizens fight corruption individually.

Similarly at Saint Peter’s Anglican church Amawbia, the Vicar, Venerable Chris Ogbodo who spoke on the topic “Jesus the great Shepherd,” charged Christians to get acquainted with the voice and ways of God so as not to be deceived by fake prophets, urging them to align themselves with God in order for Him to lead them in the right part.
While at the Kingdom of Grace International Ministry Awka, the General Overseer Pastor, Dr. Top Felix whose message centered on “How to Overcome “ emphasized that for Children of God to overcome all tribulations in life , they should inculcate the virtue of faith in Christ Jesus.

The Sunday services featured Thanksgiving, prayers and worship.
