Anambra Assembly Speaker Maduagwu, Others Assure  Obiano Of Support In Second Term

Positive reactions have continued to trail yesterday’s inauguration of Governor Willie Obiano and his Deputy Dr Nkem Okeke for another term of four years.

Some key government functionaries who spoke to the ABS at Dr Alex Ekwueme, Square in Awka, were optimistic that Governor Obiano will justify the second term mandate given to him by the people.

In her reaction, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Barrister Rita Maduagwu, assured that the House of Assembly will synergize with the Executive arm of government, to realize the vision of Governor Obiano in the next four year.

On his part, the Member representing Ogbaru Constituency Two, Sir Somtoochkwu Udeze, extolled Governor Obiano for performing creditably in agriculture, security of lives and property among others.

Sir Somtoochukwu, however urged the Governor to concentrate on agriculture to create more job opportunities for youths and make the State the food basket of the nation.

In his reaction, a Lagos based industrialist, Chief Godwin Okafor, urged Governor Obiano to invest more on industrialization in order to generate more income for the State, just as he assured that industrialists in the State will always abide by his policies aimed at actualizing his vision in the industrial sector.
