Obiano's Second Term: Anambra Lawmaker Ugochukwu Predicts More Democracy Dividends

The Member representing Orumba South Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Princess Nikky Ugochukwu,

has described Governor Willie Obiano’s second term inauguration as a great opportunity for more democracy dividends across the State.

Speaking to newsmen at the Dr Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, during the ceremony, Princess Ugochukwu noted that Governor Obiano has proved himself a prudent and purposeful leader in view of his numerous accomplishments in the State.

The Lawmaker while congratulating Governor Obiano on his second term inauguration, appealed to politicians in the State to join hands with the Governor in all his efforts to ensure rapid development of the State.

Princess Ugochukwu, who is the Chairman State House of Assembly Committee on Women’s Affairs and Social development, commended the wife of the Governor, Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, for her women empowerment programmes and assured her of continuous support of women of the State.

Meanwhile, a community leader in Isiagu, Awka South Local Government Area, Chief Ben Ifeatu, has expressed optimism that Governor Willie Obiano will consolidate on his achievements in the second term of his administration.

Speaking to the ABS at the Dr Alex Ekwueme square in Awka, shortly after the inauguration of Governor Obiano and his Deputy Dr Nkem Okeke for a second term Chief Ifeatu said that Governor Obiano has through his effective security network rekindled the interests of investors to the State, in addition to restoring night life.

He called on the people of the State, to rally round the Obiano administration in its second term for enhanced development of the State.
