The State Secretary, All progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) , Barrister Anthony Ifeanya ,
has charged Chairmen of Transition Committees in the State to mobilize people of their Council Areas who are yet to register and obtained their permanent voter’s cards to take the advantage of the on-going continuous voter’s registration exercise by INEC nationwide to get registered and obtain their cards.
The APGA Secretary , who was speaking with newsmen in his office in Awka, reminded those who have not registered that there is no way they could exercise their franchise during the forthcoming General Elections without their voter’s cards.
He however, called for decentralization of the INEC registration centers across the country with a view to making the exercise less difficult for the people, noting that the electorate have been finding it difficult to travel from their far communities to their respective local government areas headquarters for the registration exercise.
Barrister Ifeanya, also advised the electorate, especially those in Ayamelum local government area, who have registered but have not collected their permanent voter’s cards to visit INEC headquarters at their local government areas in the state to collect their cards .BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
