Governor Willie Obiano says his government is focused on fulfilling all the promises it made to Ndi Anambra during his second term electioneering campaigns.
Governor Obiano made this known at Peter University site, Onneh / Achina when he joined the Bishop of Awka Catholic Diocese, Most Reverend Paulinus Ezeokafor on an assessment visit to the project site.
Governor Obiano who said what Ndi Anambra did for him during the November 18th Governorship election will remain indelible in his mind, commended the role played by the Church in mobilizing the people to participate in the exercise.
He noted that the people having done their part in ensuring that his second term bid is a reality, the onus is on him to meet his own part of the bargain by working tirelessly towards transforming the State.
The Governor, who expressed happiness that the Achina-Oneh-Agbudu-Ogboji road leading to the University is moving at a remarkable pace, assured that he is committed to completing the project.
He called for more prayers and supports from the church to enable him succeed in his second term in office.
Earlier in his remarks, Bishop Ezeokafor expressed appreciation to the Governor for the show of solidarity while commending his efforts in the areas of security and infrastructural development.
Bishop Ezeokafor who noted that what happened on November 18th 2017 was the visible hand of God, reminded the Governor that the overwhelming victory comes with an enormous responsibility and the Church will rally round him through prayers for God to uphold him.
